Music Albums from Foreign and Local Artists to Watch Out this 2011

Are you looking for new music this 2011? Let's make this year a good year for music and support new albums from new and old artists and from local and foreign artists.

I have a neat list below of “possible” music albums that will be released this year. I have to declare that this may still subject to change and may be postponed for next year but hopefully these albums will be set to be released this year.

Let's start the list from local artists:

1.Talumpati Album by Gloc 9

The album has been officially released today January 24, 2011. I have posted more information about this album here on my blog and if you want to read about it, just check out Talumpati album by Gloc 9.

2.Yeng Constantino- 4th Album

I have read on Yeng's Tumblr page that she is currently writing some songs for her 4th album that will be released this year. I have asked Yeng Constantino about this but I haven't received confirmation yet from her. The previous three albums are sure hit. She started her first album on the year 2007 under the title “Salamat” inspired by her stint in the reality show Pinoy Dream Academy. Her second album is titled Journey which was released in the year 2008 and the latest album released on 2009 is Lapit. No title yet for the fourth album but definitely, it will be released this year.

3.Save Me Hollywood- 1st album

This is the newest band in the block headed by the vocalist slash video jock Julz. If you want to know more about this band, check it here as I have also featured them here.

4.Tanya Markova- 2nd album

I am currently listening to this band in Monster radio and they have just announced that they have enough songs to make a new album. That could be good news to the fans of Tanya Markova. After the success of the first album which is a self titled album, Tanya Markova will set to dominate again the airwave this year. Well, basically, the new songs are entirely different from Linda Blair, Disney and Picture Picture. The band has mentioned they will release a song about the book of Revelation.

5.Ebe Dancel of Sugarfree

Ebe is a band member of Sugarfree which apparently left the band just this January to pursue a solo career. After eleven years of being a frontman and vocalist of Sugarfree, he decided to try going solo. Definitely his solo album will be about to release this year.

For Foreign Artists, this is my unofficial list of new albums:

1.Lady Gaga- Born this Way

Just in time for Valentines, Lady Gaga is set to release her Born this way album this February or maybe early March. I am sure fans are going gaga over her album. This could be the third album of Lady Gaga following off the success of The Fame released in the year 2008 and The Fame Monster in 2009.

2.Justin Bieber- My World

The previous albums are sure hits, but the next one is the E.P album which I think will be shown in 3D. I don't know much about it but I am sure fans will like it.

As a follow up for her 2008 double platinum album called “I Am… Sasha Fierce”, Beyonce is currently working hard to release a new album for the year 2011.

These guys are set to dominate the airwaves for this year 2011 for their 8th record. People are always looking forward for their new albums.

5.Jonas Brothers

For the teen market, here is the good news for you. After being silent for a year, Jonas Brothers will be back for a possible album this year 2011. So watch out for that.

Integrity Matters Most

They always said “Masarap ang Bawal”. I can't help but to agree. Sometimes I am thinking why is it so difficult to avoid “Bawal” in life? Prohibited things or actions are very tempting and this is the primary reason why people are not living a righteous life.

Integrity is one of the foundation in achieving God's Best. This is what has been preached to us today in the church. Integrity means always doing the right thing no matter what will happen. So if you are prohibited to do things because it will displease God, then by all means try to avoid doing it because God is testing your Integrity. The only way to become strong of the strongholds and the temptation in life is to strengthen the virtue of Integrity.

One of the most perfect examples of integrity in the account in the Bible is the life of Joseph. His character is very consistent. No matter what happened to him, he stood strong with his belief. Remember that Joseph was sold by his brothers because of jealousy. But because of his integrity, God put Joseph in a good position. But even during his stay in Egypt, King Potifar's wife tried to tempt Joseph to sleep with her, although there's a chance to do so, Joseph did not give in to the temptation. He was even imprisoned because he was accused by Potifar's wife of raping her. But Joseph stayed the same and continued to do good even when he is in prison.

You can apply integrity at work by doing what you think is right even though nobody is watching. Remember that when you are in your workplace, you should work on pleasing God and not pleasing your boss. Do your job with all your heart without expecting your boss to appreciate you. Whether your boss is watching over your work or not, always do your best.

You can apply integrity with your words. You must practice what you preach. A Yes should be a Yes and a No should be a No. Always make sure that what you are saying should always reflect your action.

If we have the virtue of integrity, we can always project God's best in our life.

How to Mend a Broken Heart?

People will always come and go, even your dearest boyfriend or girlfriend may go. If you are really not meant to each other, you have no other option but to let him or her go and move on.

However, letting go and moving on are a thousand times easier said than done. There are a lot of things to be considered, and the most important part that must be considered is the heart itself. It does not mean literally breaking, but it really hurts to see somebody you already learn to love and you used to be with leaving and literally going out of your life.

If you are in this kind of situation, please take a look at my “Mend your breaking heart” tool kit:

1. Tell it to the world

C’mon, cheer up. Do not stay inside your room the whole day and feel the pain. It really helps to gather all your friends or families or even people you do not know and share about your burden. You must be open, or else it will burst out right within you, and you know what will happen next, yes, Pimples. I’m sure you don’t want it to happen. So blurt it out.

2. Eat sweets

Connection? Well, I still believe that eating sweets is a good stress reliever. Take a bite of a cupcake and icing to at least alleviate the bitterness in you.

3. Watch drama movies

Relax! You might be scolding at me now saying “What? I am depress and you want me to watch depressing movies?” Well I still say yes. Watch the most dramatic movie you’ve ever known. Why? Well, don’t spill your tears over unworthy things. Crying over spilled milk is nonsense, better to cry over a movie. Does it make sense?

4. Watch concert

Oh yeah. Life should go on. You should enjoy life. So go out and watch concerts so that your world will still rock on even without him or her.

That’s all. And in case you are asking how I knew about this stuff, well, I just learned it from the Music Video of the song “Wag Na” by Yeng Constantino. I really like the song, I really like Yeng Constantino and I really like this video. Watch it here:

Biblical Foundation in Achieving God's Best: Values

I would just like to quickly share what I learned from church last Sunday.

For the first quarter of the year 2011, our topic in the church is all about the virtues that would help us Christians represent God's Best and our first topic is all about values.

I remember Values as a subject way back high school and it is the most boring and the most "never-mind" subject for me. But later on, I realized that what I had learned from Values Education have become my armor and shield for the temptations and all the strongholds that this world can offer.

Values are the things that are special to us or something that we cherished. If we are talking about something valuable, we are thinking about the material things, the power, the fame and whatever that brings us happiness.

But values can also be found on intangible things and the most valuable item that we could ever share to other people is LOVE. In new testament, the LOVE of GOD is branded as the most valuable of all. But because of the material things and the wordly elements, we tend to focus more on valuable objects here on earth rather than focusing on the Love of God.

In New testament, the 10 commandments have been summarize into two things: Love your neighbor as you love yourself, and Love God. That is how simple it is. This is the true value that we should always consider. If we have the LOVE OF GOD, wherever we go, whatever we do, and whatever situation we are in, we are carrying with us the true value.

Experience Minute Maid Pulpy Without Compromising Health

Minute Maid Pulpy-No Preservatives added
I just drank a bottle of Minute Maid Pulpy. They say it’s got ‘no preservatives added’. Aw, c’mon…It’s bottled juice. Is that even possible? So I thought maybe... I should buy and try one to confirm if their advertisement is true. And true indeed, I can say that this is the most natural and the most healthy juice drink in the world. I am really amaze with Minute Maid Pulpy. I am not actually a fan of juice drink because of the preservatives, but Minute Maid has proven me wrong. I am now an official fan and drinker of Minute Maid Pulpy.

I didn’t believe it the first time I heard it’s got no preservatives added. So I read the ingredients (even the fine print) and everything checked out!

It really has NO PRESERVATIVES ADDED! That means it doesn’t have ingredients that may turn out to be allergens, or worse...carcinogens! Whew! Now that’s healthy goodness that tastes so good, I can't believe this is still possible for product like this. I have been looking for juice drink that we can really enjoy without worrying about the side effect, and Minute Maid Pulpy is I think the answer.

So okay, it’s got no preservatives added. That’s really good, right? Not just because it doesn’t have those icky, harmful ingredients, but it also means... staying fit and healthy while enjoying a doze of Minute Maid. For all those who are health conscious, this is the best option for you. I even think supplying my grandparents with this juice because this is not only health friendly, but will also help revitalize your energy because it contains vitamins and minerals that our body needs to combat diseases.

So far anyone who still has a hard time believing that Minute Maid has got no preservatives added - meaning it's THAT natural, it's almost like it's plucked straight from the tree, it's just as Mother Nature wanted your orange juice to be, it's got nothing but the good stuff yes, none of those potentially toxic stuff that can harm your brain, kidneys, heart; cause tumors aargh- the list of preservatives' bad effects just go on!!! Anyway, just to prove a point on just how good Minute Maid Pulpy is 'cause it's got NO PRESERVATIVES ADDED, I'm gonna recommend this Minute Maid to my family and friends. Only few products like this that enable you to enjoy life's goodness without compromising the health. Imagine drinking an orange juice that tastes like a fresh orange juice taken straight away from the tree. I really enjoy the pulpy thingy on this juice drink because it makes me feel like eating an orange fruit. In general, I really enjoyed drinking Minue Maid Pulpy because I know I am not compromising my health, unlike other juice drinks out there.

Feels good to know about the real pulpy deal, right? C’mon show me a smile on the comment box, and you might win yourself a Really Pulpy Deal! (That’s a chance to win a Minute Maid gift pack simply by commenting. Sweet! C'mon you just might be picked as the lucky 'commentor'!)

Save Me Hollywood-The Pinoy Paramore Version

I was able to watch the Music Uplate Live last night hosted by Yeng Constantino and Tutti together with this funny host they called Ms. Gee. Their guest last night was the newly founded band called “Save Me Hollywood”. At first, I am not that interested because I think this is just another band sprouting like a mushroom out of nowhere, but when Julz, the vocalist started to rock it on, I was just like, “Oh, they look like Paramore”. And yeah, true, I am not the only one who can testify that Save Me Hollywood is indeed the Pinoy version of Paramore.

Gloc 9’s TALUMPATI Album to be Released this January 2011

The year 2010 is the birth year of various languages in the Philippines. We have been introduced to Jejemon, Bekemon and the fliptop. These languages have even influenced Philippine music. We heard several Jejemon themed song and in fliptop style but these could never be threats to the rap music.

For the year 2011, Gloc 9 will bring back the most basic and the most artistic language of music, and if we think of Gloc 9, we are actually thinking of rap music. There have been a lot of Filipino rappers in the country, but Gloc 9 is unique because he is writing that in Filipino language and with a heavy theme of politics and it reflects the life of every Filipino. A great message and an amazing delivery in rap would make it a perfect Gloc 9 trademark.
